回港後，羅女士開辦了一所心理治療中心，繼續從事治療及心理治療工作。羅女士又與學校、醫院、社福機構緊密合作，向大眾提供治療及培訓服務。近年羅女士也積極投身於寫作及培訓工作，以及在香港專上院校擔任兼職講師 (主講兒童發展)，有志將心理治療及音樂治療經驗與社會大眾分享，並致力研究運用豎琴於其輔導中，羅氏名其為Harpalogue 協助女性在人生不同階段尋找方向及重拾自信。
Ms Fanny Siu-yu Lo is a Psychological Counsellor and a Registered Music Therapist. She obtained her first Master degree in Music Therapy from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK, after awarded the prestigious Sir Robert Black Postgraduate Scholarship; and the second Master degree in counselling from Monash University. Ms Lo is also a professional harpist. She is specialized in using counselling and music therapy skills in her psychotherapy work and has practiced music therapy in the UK. Back in 2004, Ms.Lo earned her Bachelor Degree in Education (Mathematics major) in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, obtained professional teaching qualification, and was awarded the prize of academic performance by the University. After graduation, she was admitted in Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, major in Harp performance.
Ms Lo’s key service targets include children with special needs and behavioral problem, teenagers and adults suffering from emotional distress and mental health problems. During her study in the UK, she worked for Paediatric Department of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Fulbourn Hospital (an adult and older adult mental health hospital) in London and Cambridge respectively. As a pioneer in using harp in the therapy, Ms Lo has gained invaluable experience in providing assessment, treatment and evaluation for patients with Bi- polar, Depression, Dementia, Autism, Down Syndrome and students with special needs and behavioral problems.
After returning to Hong Kong, Ms Lo set up a therapy centre where she conducts private practice in psychotherapy. She also closely works with schools, hospitals and NGOs to provide therapy sessions, workshops and training to the public. Recently, Ms Lo is dedicated to writing and training; being also the part-time lecturer in territory education, all in all this is in the hope of widely sharing her knowledge and experiences in counselling and music therapy. She dedicated to combine harp with counselling and is namely Harpalogue. She also hopes to help women to find their own directions and regain confidence in different stages of life.
